Offer and Prices
The park-like complex with a view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau has existed since around 1880, when Édouard Boutibonne (French painter) commissioned the construction of the “Villa Boutibonne” – today’s Villa Unspunnen. Only later the “Jungfrauhaus” and the “grosse Saal”, a light-flooded event hall, were added. In addition to these buildings and the wonderful garden, a historic veranda with adjoining dining room, a library and the approximately 40 beds, divided into guest rooms of various sizes, form the center of the seminar activities. The facilities are simple and lovingly furnished. For example, our rooms have their own washing area with washbasin, while the toilets and showers are on the same floor.
For seminar-independent stays and personal getaways of two nights or more, we offer the “Kloster auf Zeit” studio: two rooms, each with two beds, a kitchenette for self-catering as well as its own small access and garden space. A place to catch your breath, temporarily retreat and escape the hectic pace of everyday life for a few days.
Our kitchen is also a place of lived spirituality, where the tried and true meets newly interpreted and love runs like a thread through all the dishes. During seminars, our guests enjoy regional long-distance delicacies that are prepared fresh every day with loving craftsmanship. We use mainly certified organic products.

Room prices
Overnight stay incl. full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as fruit, tea and water all day. For special food (lactose/gluten, everything else on request) we charge CHF 35.- per seminar.

Our big hall
110 m2 parquet floor, light-flooded, spacious entrance area with WC facilities, music system, direct access to the garden via room-high window front.
Temporary monastery
Our 2-room studio with separate access and own kitchenette for seminar-independent stays (at least two overnight stays).
In the studio there are two rooms with two beds each. If you would like to book one of the rooms exclusively, with kitchenette and bathroom for your own use, we will be happy to inform you about the prices.
If you do not book one of the rooms of the studio exclusively, you share kitchen and bathroom with possible guests of the second room. With this booking option, the prices for a room vary between CHF 64 (for two persons, price per person/night) and CHF 94 (single person, price per night). Price reduction for stays from five days. Self-catering, plus visitor’s tax.
The meditation room
35m2 with bright carpet, quietly located in the attic of the former wash house. The meditation room is available for meditation around the clock.
